Spring Semester Course Registration Dates and Explanations

- All* courses will be conducted REMOTELY until April.
(*Only the TEACHING PRACTICE course will be FACE-TO-FACE.)
- How to proceed after April will be determined at that time.
- Course Registrations and Renewals will start on February 23 after 13:00 and will continue until Friday, March 3, 2023, at 23:59.
- Add-Drop (adding/dropping courses) will be done between March 6-10, 2023.
- Since the Weekly Course Schedule is not ready, taking courses from upper semesters will only be done during the add-drop week.
- Courses will be conducted via UZEM (uzak.mehmetakif.edu.tr) starting from February 27, 2023.
- Information about how the exams will be conducted (remote/face-to-face) will be provided in the upcoming period.
- Due to the earthquake, the dates and the method of the make-up exam for our students who could not attend the MAKE-UP exam will be announced in the coming days.
- Since there are students who could not attend the make-up exam, the determination of students in the Second Education who are in the Top 10% will be done later.
(- Since no decision covering our University has been made regarding fee payments, course registration can be done after paying the fee shown in OBIS. (The decision announcement published in the Official Gazette dated 03.03.2023.)
- After the students who are in the Top 10% are determined, the excess fees they paid will be refunded.
Dear Students,
The decisions taken due to the earthquake are generally made by the Presidency, and the details related to universities are determined by YÖK. Our University and Faculty Management implement the decisions of YÖK.
We wish Allah's mercy on those who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster that deeply wounded all of us, a speedy recovery to the injured, and our condolences and patience to those who lost their loved ones.
We hope to reunite with you by transitioning to face-to-face education as soon as possible.
