The Orientation Program for First-Year Students Who Registered Newly to Our Faculty Was Held

   An orientation program was held for first-year students who registered at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Sports Sciences for the 2026-2027 Academic Year between October 19-23, 2026.

   The program aimed to support our students' adaptation processes to university and faculty life, to inform and promote the educational, developmental, and social opportunities offered by our university and faculty, and various topics were addressed during the program.

     As part of the program, students were taken to the Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Library and the Health, Culture, and Sports Department to closely familiarize themselves with the university's academic and social opportunities. During the visits, students were informed about the services offered by the university, social activities, and the opportunities available for students. Additionally, the cafeteria, family medicine unit, and other student service points were introduced, and information about campus life was provided. In the faculty part of the orientation program, classrooms and laboratories were introduced; explanations were given to students about course registration processes, academic procedures, and faculty operations. Thus, it was aimed for students to familiarize themselves with both the opportunities offered by the university and the basic practices related to the education and training process.

   As the Faculty of Sports Sciences family, we wish all our students who joined us in the 2026-2027 Academic Year a peaceful, healthy, and successful academic year.
