A World Disability Day awareness event was organized at the Faculty of Sports Sciences on December 3.
As part of the 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities, an event was organized with the participation of our students, under the coordination of our University's Disabled Student Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Elif TOP and our Faculty's Disabled Student Unit Representative Dr. Lecturer Soner SİVRİ, to raise social awareness in order to draw attention to the problems of individuals with special needs and to understand them better.
At the end of the event, where Wheelchair Tennis and Wheelchair Basketball were played, the message was given that everyone should be aware that they are a potential candidate for disability and that they should show sensitivity to facilitate the lives of individuals with special needs in all areas.
